Welcome to All About Fukuyama Masaharu, part lyrics blog, part fan site, 100% about Masha. It started out as a blog around April 2009 to repost all English lyrics, but after a while I got a bit ambitious and posting many other things I can gather from the net, some pictures, some articles, mostly news in English from the perspective of a fan although you can find some translated articles in here. I do not pretend to say I take credit for the text in here; frankly I just search, gather, summarise, reword and repost. I will always include the name of the fan who said whatever I posted to the best of my ability but as you can see, my sources are mostly from 2 main fan forums of Masha that is not in Japan. My problem is I can't read Japanese or Chinese, but my persistence sometimes does pay off when I just keep looking. You will also find some pictures in here, but all of the pictures you don't see in here are in Facebook, just look for All Abt Masha. I am quite active in that Facebook page, and it is also a place to find information! My main purpose for this blog is for myself; to gather all lyrics in English under one roof. But I am very sure foreign fans can also benefit from the contents in this blog, and without the many wonderful foreign Masha fans who translate, discuss and share whether privately or publicly, this blog will never be what it is today. I am still hoping to find more English lyrics somewhere, although from the looks of it, I will say things have slowed down a bit. Anyway, have a look. Added yet a 3rd version of the translation, which closely resembles the 2nd version but this one is translated directly from Japanese. There is a flow to it although the translation approach is simplistic meaning simple words used. I think all 3 versions are very similar and Hatsukoi is still as depressing as ever. At the time of posting, the song has yet to be released. The song is finally released on 16.12.2009! Everybody, better grab this from youtube before it is removed. I present to you the FULL PV for Hatsukoi thanks to generous fan, fuzokusos!! To know how to grab this from youtube, see the left panel under Links Of Interest. Act fast!! The above version is the full version but the quality ain't that great since it is ripped from the radio play version during Masha's ANN radio show which is an alternative version I found in youtube. Seems to be better quality than the radio ripped version eventhough at the time the song was posted the poster wouldn't have received the CD yet. It was ripped by someone and posted in youtube by someone. That someone is not me but thanks to worldwide audience, there is always someone who will post some wanted materials and share with others. Yes, this is Hatsukoi aka First Love aka はつ恋 in full. I have listened to this for the 10th time, liked it very much except for the falsetto part which I feel is his weakest. But the melody is amazing. The Kanji lyrics is taken from this blog and the English translated version is by Izumisano of Masha Heart and MashaPlus Info forums, the links at the bottom of this page. The lyrics are depressing but every heartbreak makes for great and memorable songwriting. I wonder who this is about? Anyway you will find this in his album, Hatsukoi where you will also find the karaoke version (meaning just the music) as a singles release and since it is sure to be released I am posting this under Releases [Singles] instead of the previous ones posted under Coming Soon. I will also be posting the PV version in this post also so do lookout for updates for this title aka this post itself. Izumisano of Masha Heart and MashaPlus Info forums, the links at the bottom of this page posted a slightly different translation of the same lyrics which when rearranged does sound even more depressing. Have a look and since translation is never 100% fail proof as the Japanese language can be quite complex sometimes, I believe both interpretation works and is almost similar except for the more powerful impact in the 2nd translated version simply because of the rearranged words in the first verse. I have been thinking. The youtube version isn't exactly clear and my own ripped version is in fact clearer although the source is the same. But since the actual single which is of course of better quality is coming out really soon, I think it would be alright to post my own cut out version for you to download. It's the same quality, except no talking until the end where you hear Masha telling you when the single will be released. So just right click and choose Save Target As or Save As or copy and paste the URL in your Download Manager. Again I repeat same radio quality except better cut is how I would put it. Interesting she adopted the minimalistic approach as I notice Omoi = feelings which was what I suspected whilst the above 2 translations adopted a more dramatic flair approach where Omoi = desire. In context the same but you will get my meaning when you read all the interpretation.
