Welcome to All About Fukuyama Masaharu, part lyrics blog, part fan site, 100% about Masha. It started out as a blog around April 2009 to repost all English lyrics, but after a while I got a bit ambitious and posting many other things I can gather from the net, some pictures, some articles, mostly news in English from the perspective of a fan although you can find some translated articles in here. I do not pretend to say I take credit for the text in here; frankly I just search, gather, summarise, reword and repost. I will always include the name of the fan who said whatever I posted to the best of my ability but as you can see, my sources are mostly from 2 main fan forums of Masha that is not in Japan. My problem is I can't read Japanese or Chinese, but my persistence sometimes does pay off when I just keep looking. You will also find some pictures in here, but all of the pictures you don't see in here are in Facebook, just look for All Abt Masha. I am quite active in that Facebook page, and it is also a place to find information! My main purpose for this blog is for myself; to gather all lyrics in English under one roof. But I am very sure foreign fans can also benefit from the contents in this blog, and without the many wonderful foreign Masha fans who translate, discuss and share whether privately or publicly, this blog will never be what it is today. I am still hoping to find more English lyrics somewhere, although from the looks of it, I will say things have slowed down a bit. Anyway, have a look. Thanks to Midori of the HK Discussion forums who went to Nagasaki recently and posted the following picture amongst other pictures (in Nagasaki Masha's face is everywhere!), I present to you Masha's family home's doorbell!!
Silly I know for me to be rather excited at this one picture but rather interesting you know... notice the name, FUKUYAMA in English! Not Japanese, English! I bet you will be tempted to press it. His mom may answer the door!
More of her Masha spotting in Nagasaki pictures here at post #1023 and #1024 (page 69). Poor Masha. Probably can't escape the attention and he must feel quite suffocated. What to do when you're in one of the most heavily promoted taiga series, from Nagasaki where some scenes were filmed, the real person you played was there way back then, you're proud son of Nagasaki who depends on your image economically AND you're you. By the way on the radio show yesterday Masha was wondering why people out of Japan (he was in Singapore for transit and people there recognised him and he did mention Malaysia) recognises him (air stewardess was pointing at him). I wonder why he even wonders? He doesn't know he is famous? No wonder he doesn't hold concerts out of Japan. How I wish I could speak Japanese, call his radio show and just tell him exactly how famous he is. Malaysians have watched Under Same Roof/Under One Roof, knew him way back then, recently ASTRO broadcasted Galileo and Suspect X. Many Malaysians I know thought he was an actor who ventured into singing, like what I thought too. Yes we may not know he is a singer first, we do know him as an actor and we know his name! So yes, he is very famous even if not as famous as the Korean stars like Bae Yongjun or Jang Donggun but those who knows know and we know him decades ago! Many may not heard of his name since Under Same Roof since Malaysia these days loves Korean series but when we do come across his name again, we remember him! It is not because Ryoma Den or those music shows broadcasted here, no they're not. It is not because of Internet because that's to search his news and to search his news you must know him first. Nope! It is because of him from way back! Oh fans from Japan, call him! TELL HIM! I am rather angry actually!
