Welcome to All About Fukuyama Masaharu, part lyrics blog, part fan site, 100% about Masha. It started out as a blog around April 2009 to repost all English lyrics, but after a while I got a bit ambitious and posting many other things I can gather from the net, some pictures, some articles, mostly news in English from the perspective of a fan although you can find some translated articles in here. I do not pretend to say I take credit for the text in here; frankly I just search, gather, summarise, reword and repost. I will always include the name of the fan who said whatever I posted to the best of my ability but as you can see, my sources are mostly from 2 main fan forums of Masha that is not in Japan. My problem is I can't read Japanese or Chinese, but my persistence sometimes does pay off when I just keep looking. You will also find some pictures in here, but all of the pictures you don't see in here are in Facebook, just look for All Abt Masha. I am quite active in that Facebook page, and it is also a place to find information! My main purpose for this blog is for myself; to gather all lyrics in English under one roof. But I am very sure foreign fans can also benefit from the contents in this blog, and without the many wonderful foreign Masha fans who translate, discuss and share whether privately or publicly, this blog will never be what it is today. I am still hoping to find more English lyrics somewhere, although from the looks of it, I will say things have slowed down a bit. Anyway, have a look. Strange but no need to even argue if it is true or not! Someone actually posted a rather interesting but sadly short commentary on his hairstyle and his face shape! I must repost here, I MUST. The source is a blog with an aptly named Latest Tokyo Hairstyles:-
Born on February 6, 1969, Masaharu-kun is a well known Japanese song writer, record producer, photographer, guitarist, and actor. He is best known for his starring role in the popular Japanese drama, "Galileo", featuring him as a brilliant yet awkward physicist. In the popular drama he helps out a rookie cop, played by Shibasaki Kou. Through the help of this drama Fukuyama Masaharu is appealed to the younger fans that might not have noticed him earlier.
From this brief photo of Masaharu, it is observable that he holds an Oval Shaped Face, like most idols have. Because of this factor, he can carry out Medium length hairstyles.
Because of his Oval shaped face, Masaharu can almost pull any crazy hairstyle even with perming hair. Not to mention that his facial outlook is an excellent addition, his cool look transforms any awkward hairstyle to an unique type.
And again, Fukuyama Masaharu looks best in his Medium hairstyle. With long sides curled upwards, and bangs split into a 3/4 fashion.
Considering Galileo was like almost 4 years ago and Zankyo was released about 1 year ago, it ain't the latest. I wonder do residents in Tokyo now sport the Season 3 Ryomasha hairstyle?
I disagree though in the 3/4 fashion and whatever you call it. For me, no contest. Yukawa sensei's hairstyle, whether in Galileo or in Suspect X, all the way!
I do agree though that Galileo is the one factor that he has more fans now than ever. Many knew him through Galileo, and older fans such as myself reignited our interest through Galileo. So to me him acting in Galileo is the major point why his career is at not really its highest point but near highest point last and this year. You can't argue with the fact that 2009-2010 is definitely Masha's year.
