About Masha ... where to find stuff about him

Life is hard as Masha fan, more so when you're overseas, don't know Japanese and can't understand Chinese either because all articles are in Japanese, most are translated into Chinese and very few got the English treatment. Life as a non-Japanese or out of Japanese fan can be so difficult and it isn't made any easier since none of the Japanese star management company seems interested in worldwide audience as evidenced by their Japan only fan clubs! And all fans who dedicate themselves to translating his articles and BROS messages, etc are mostly one woman show, so you can guess how slow and how little we the rest could get. However what he lacks in an army of fans translating stuff, he made it up with a very few specialised fans who dedicate themselves to one task; getting his message across. So for leeches like myself who can't help but can just suck all the effort, it is a blessing. I feel quite ashamed of myself which was in a way why I started this blog in the first place; spreading the goodness of the talented Masha himself. So, you know his name, his age, his date of birth, even to the extent of his mother's name (I don't) or his brother's name (I don't also), but you don't know anything else. Like what are his thought processes when writing a song? What about what he said in that favourite youtube video you just saw? Or what the heck did he just say in his radio program? Fear not! I have a few resources for you, well actually 1 but it is more than enough for the time being. If you know Chinese or Japanese and can help to translate, help to translate his songs for me!! Or those articles you knew no one translate yet! Share and share alike!  Check out the links after Read More.

Anyway, especially for English fans, do check out...

> Masha Heart
- For all the articles in English. Translated from magazines, TV interviews, lyrics, BROS Newsletters, concert reports, etc, in English (and some in Thai). This is to me the ultimate Masha resources for those who are English educated. Don't expect to find MP3s and what nots. It is strictly text based, no images, no nothing. But the more you read the more you know the man and his thought processes.

> MashaPlus Info Forums
- Requires registration but it's free and not like those high and mighty pompous club, so don't be afraid of not gaining entrance. This ain't Oxford. Anyway get scans, news, discussions and more. Great place I tell you.

> Tatiana's Livejournal
- Like myself, sometimes it is hard to get your hands on some of Masha stuff, be they DVDs or some of his older albums. Whilst you may find the contents in Tatiana's site objectionable due to the presence of well, you will know when you see them, I find her site extremely informative for those lacking in monetary resources. But do be aware; don't spread the name around too much if not there won't be any for future fans. Get the stuff, enjoy it and later when you see fit, buy it. I am aiming for his next DVD concert release but I have to curse if it is not available in Region 3 format!!

That's it. No other resources for English educated fans. Until I find others, the above 3 are gold! You will always find the above links at the bottom of each post in this blog.

Sometimes I receive some media files or stuff about Masha that can't be publicly shared, but I can however share privately, such as concert clips, etc. I would love to share whatever I got with you, as a way of disseminating information of Masha to the masses. You probably have all that stuff if you're an experienced fan, but if you are new to Masha or does not know other experienced fans, you probably won't have most of what I can send to you. I don't send emails often, since frankly I don't get such stuff often but when I do, I will send the link if I am allowed to do so. So do join my contact list but be reminded, you're not allowed to repost/redistribute/reupload whatever I send you whether in whole or in part. Anyone interested, redirect them to my blog and ask them to join my contact list. But this is only open to those who will answer the questions in the form below accurately. If you're successful, you will receive quite a few emails since I group all links together into categorised documents. If you're not, I will email and inform why (probably answered some wrongly, such as title not in Romaji or wrong answer). Once you found the answer, please RESUBMIT THE FORM. If you did not receive my emails (whether the many materials or rejection email) within 3 days of joining, please do resend your request. Thanks for joining!
