Fukuyama's first-ever dual roles.
Fukuyama will appear in a dual-role in the latest Dunlop CM. The present Fukuyama will have a conversation with an old man from 100 years ago, regarding the environmental effect and the wish for more fuel-efficiency tyres. Machiko Yanai is the creative director of this project, while the CM is being narrated by Lily Franky.
Initially, the plan was to have Fukuyama converse with another actor. But when he heard it, he decided to offer himself in the role. Changes was done before the shooting. A special make-up and wig had to be applied. The attention can be seen in the wrinkles that present on his face.
The CM will start airing on 18th February 2011.
Anyway I myself was doing something and I saw the title as "Driver's Eye" as in English as the title for the file, not at the website. Not sure if that is the official title.
Youtube has it! But why not download them?

This is a keeper. There are 3 versions with slightly different content. The file type is MP4. All ripped by Izumisano and I reformat it to a more friendly format. All video quality looks great! Choose either one links for each option.

About 2 and a half min long, this one if you're interested in the tyres and all. But it has an ending scene of young Masha waving and ancestor Masha at the end that the other versions don't have so this is a keeper! 29.61MB file size.

30 Seconds Ver
The best of the 3 since it has all Masha scenes in it except the final waving scene and a tiny look at the tyre so that you know this is a tyre CM. 5.54MB file size.

WOW! WOW! WOW! I want!!! From HKFC.
And indeed! Here is a screencap taken from here. Young Masha (still long hair) and old Masha (reminds me of Ryoma look). Mashamasha from HKFC notes this was neither shot in Thailand or in Hawaii (since he did say he cut his hair before the CM in Hawaii, and in this one obviously still long hair), so it was in Japan? I suppose the news here will explain the location/concept but it is in Japanese.
Thanks to Halad who explained the concept is "that it's about Masha getting thrown back in time and meeting his ancestor in the Meiji period! They made him look like he was 70" and thanks to Izumisano for more info where she wrote "It says when he heard the idea, he suggested to play the role of his ancestor himself. The CM was filmed on location outside the Narita City Museum, Chiba. They had to put in about 100 extras, horse-drawn carriages and rickshaws, all in line with the designs at that time. Lilly Franky narrates."
Sounds big budget. Can't wait.
