Welcome to All About Fukuyama Masaharu, part lyrics blog, part fan site, 100% about Masha. It started out as a blog around April 2009 to repost all English lyrics, but after a while I got a bit ambitious and posting many other things I can gather from the net, some pictures, some articles, mostly news in English from the perspective of a fan although you can find some translated articles in here. I do not pretend to say I take credit for the text in here; frankly I just search, gather, summarise, reword and repost. I will always include the name of the fan who said whatever I posted to the best of my ability but as you can see, my sources are mostly from 2 main fan forums of Masha that is not in Japan. My problem is I can't read Japanese or Chinese, but my persistence sometimes does pay off when I just keep looking. You will also find some pictures in here, but all of the pictures you don't see in here are in Facebook, just look for All Abt Masha. I am quite active in that Facebook page, and it is also a place to find information! My main purpose for this blog is for myself; to gather all lyrics in English under one roof. But I am very sure foreign fans can also benefit from the contents in this blog, and without the many wonderful foreign Masha fans who translate, discuss and share whether privately or publicly, this blog will never be what it is today. I am still hoping to find more English lyrics somewhere, although from the looks of it, I will say things have slowed down a bit. Anyway, have a look. Masha, dressed as Ryoma in Season 3 being interviewed in NHK Asaichi show, I think that's the name, in Nagasaki itself. No subs but just lovely to watch. The video links and some snippets after Read More link. But hurry! As you know, NHK will remove the youtube files in a matter of days.

Thanks to Mashamasha, River and Izumisano for some rough translation. Hopefully there will be a full translation soon at Masha Heart. Interesting stuff. He believes in UFO and ESP? Does he believe in the supernatural I wonder? Or is he more of a science sort of guy?
He said he believed in all things UFO and ESP etc. I think he mentioned the story about how he got his mom to play ESP cards with him (he had to guess what was in a card) and she said no "I don't think you have any". Also (not sure) how he drew markings all over his rooftop to call the UFO's to come.
he believes in supernatural stuff when he was young, that's why he took the role of Yukawa-sensei.
He learnt those markings from the magazine Mu, which is a magazine about supernatural things and he used to be its subscriber. He said when his mother saw him drawing those markings, she stared at him coldly!
And he also mentioned when he was student, he begged his parents to buy him a machine (睡眠学習器/sleep study devices/sleep learning modules) which can help people study while they are sleeping. It was actually a pillow with cassette recorder inside such that you can keep listening to the lecture while you are sleeping! He said that up to now, he still hasn't met any guys who had bought this machine, so he asked the tv audience to fax to the program if they did (asaichi is a live program though masha's interview part is pre-recorded). Then at the end of the program, the announcer said that they have received faxes from 17 auidence saying that they had bought this machine!

Fukuyama Masaharu misses Ryomaden
Fukuyama Masaharu appeared in a TV show being interviewed by a member of V6 (which is also a famous & popular Japanese band). He shared a lot about his feeling acting as Ryoma in NHK yearly drama Ryomaden.
Ryomaden is filmed for nearly a year and it would be ended soon. Masha said that acting as Ryoma was a big issue in his life. He does not want it to end so soon and wants to continuously acting it. Now everyday he is counting the days before Ryoamden’s filming reaching the end. He treasures and cherishes everyday filming chance. He also shared a lot about his private life. He did act as a professor in <>. He trusted those unnatural phenomenons when he was still a primary school student. Now he is 41 years old (the original article said the he was only 40). He lists out his selection criteria to be his wife. He said that she must “love cooking and washing clothes”. It seems that he is a traditional man.
