西郷はまだか/saigoo wa mada ka/Isn't Saigo here yet?
Ryoma elicits a positive response from Saigo to ally with the Choshu clan. To meet Takasugi, Ryoma and Mutsu, who belonged to the naval academy, head for Dazaifu where they encounter Nakaoka, a member of the Tosa Loyalist Party who fled to Choshu after the Party lost its power. Ryoma tells Nakaoka and Sanjo, who was removed from the Imperial Court, his idea to establish a new governance system by strengthening cooperative ties between the Choshu and the Satsuma clans. Nakaoka leaves for Satsuma to bring Saigo to Shimonoseki, while Ryoma heads for Shimonoseki to wait for Saigo with Katsura.

Finally, Ryoma & the guys found a place to stay. Choosing a name ... Finally they decided. 'Kameyama Shachu' How could Jun suggest something like that. Ahhh they are meeting the imperial court people. And he is so brave to bring about the Chosu to them. And this is Japan's future foreign minister in action.  Nakaoka knows Takechi-san, it seems. Basically, everyone that comes from Tosa has to go through Takechi-san. Sanjo has decided...The shogun still doesnt know what that Tosa men are planning. Ryoma is to pass the letter written by Sanjo to Katsura. The Nagasaki traders are having a meeting. She still remembers Ryoma. Katsura looks so happy there! Ryoma is about to say the 'wrong' thing. Goto visit Yataro. ryoma already arrested. unlike mutsu who's begging for reconsideration, ryoma proudly stood still. It seems yes, Katsura will go with Ryoma. Unfortunately, upon seeing Nakaoka, Saigo decided he doesnt want to go.  Omoto also remembers Ryoma. Now she reported it to the Nagasaki commisioner. So Saigo will not be going to Shimonoseki while Katsura Ryoma & Mutsu will. Something happen to Saigo at the ship. Nakaoka came alone.

Next week..... Saigo tell why he did not come. Ryo!! Did I see Ryoma letting his hair go? Shinsengumi! Jutaro found Ryoma. Ryo begged the shinsengumi not to attack Ryoma.

Note : Naked Oryo in bath scene ran to warn Ryoma comes in episode 36 although NHK did say there won't be a naked Oryo although historically she was famous for warning her when she was in the nude. Some pictures for the NEXT episode (Episode 32) ...

An abysmal 16%. I feel like singing Aaron's Kwok's old hit song, "tellll me whyyyyy..." because I don't get it. Someone will explain why so watch this post. I recommend the honeymoon scenes must be extended to mixed bath which sure to be a ratings hit. If not, nothing will.
