Welcome to All About Fukuyama Masaharu, part lyrics blog, part fan site, 100% about Masha. It started out as a blog around April 2009 to repost all English lyrics, but after a while I got a bit ambitious and posting many other things I can gather from the net, some pictures, some articles, mostly news in English from the perspective of a fan although you can find some translated articles in here. I do not pretend to say I take credit for the text in here; frankly I just search, gather, summarise, reword and repost. I will always include the name of the fan who said whatever I posted to the best of my ability but as you can see, my sources are mostly from 2 main fan forums of Masha that is not in Japan. My problem is I can't read Japanese or Chinese, but my persistence sometimes does pay off when I just keep looking. You will also find some pictures in here, but all of the pictures you don't see in here are in Facebook, just look for All Abt Masha. I am quite active in that Facebook page, and it is also a place to find information! My main purpose for this blog is for myself; to gather all lyrics in English under one roof. But I am very sure foreign fans can also benefit from the contents in this blog, and without the many wonderful foreign Masha fans who translate, discuss and share whether privately or publicly, this blog will never be what it is today. I am still hoping to find more English lyrics somewhere, although from the looks of it, I will say things have slowed down a bit. Anyway, have a look. BACKGROUND
Donation drive is everywhere and if you're overseas and wish to donate to the Japan relief fund there are a number of ways to do so. But some do involve high bank transfer fees so for us, the best is of course paypal. Paypal has set up a donation drive here and you may choose to donate straight to Japanese Red Cross Society (thanks Anthippi for the link!) and whatever you donate to whichever charity you choose, 100% goes to your chosen charity which in turns goes towards the Japan Earthquake relief efforts.
YOUR CONTRIBUTION AND OUR OFFER IN RETURN
Anyway, we at MashaPlus Forums have a different sort of donation drive that benefits all parties concerned. If you feel you want to donate but for whatever reasons could not do so in monetary terms, then you could let us at MashaPlus assist you. It is simple; we ask for small favours, you take up our offer, once done, we donate the promised amount to whichever charity YOU choose at the Paypal page.
Our small favours is translation. We can't read Japanese and as Masha's fans would love to have certain works of his translated into English. It need not be perfect translation, nothing is but as long as you translate it word for word or the context/meaning as you understand them, and in English, we will accept your work and even credit you for it. We donate the sum and post up the appropriate proof so that you will know we didn't lie.
And we ARE serious.
HOW TO CONTRIBUTE
If you think you can do all, by all means but if you can't, just pick and choose by using POST A COMMENT. Offer is on a first come first serve basis. Once there's a name under ACCEPTED BY, the offer is taken so if you're a visitor interested in accepting our offer, choose one that doesn't have a name there. Please take note, whatever sum quoted there will go to the charity as chosen by you, all 100% of it. If I may be more clearer, you won't get paid for it, but your chosen charity via paypal will get that money which in turn will hopefully reach our friends in Japan to help them in times of crisis. This way, we can all contribute to the funds, whether with money or with other efforts.
