[NEWS] The making of Kokoro Colour

0 comments Post a Comment
Thanks to River for translating the following news taken from Oricon. If you happen to be in Japan do check out the fossil! Check out the actual exhibition pictures here.

'I want to give back to the fans', says Fukuyama Masaharu from the set of his PV, Kokoro Colour ~A song for a wonderful year~. A set of dinosaur's bones, standingabout 2.4M in height and 10M in length has been built. This set will be displayed in a Commemorative Event to celebrate Fukuyama's 20 years in the industry and also the release of his best album, The Best Bang!! (17th Nov).

Hopefully this will cheer up the viewers who watched it. The shooting was done in a secret location in the city. The director decided to combine the PV with clay animation, even the CG was hand-drawn instead. I never like digital that much, thus, it was done in an analog way.

A special sticker will be given to the visitors who go to the event, which will start on the 22nd this month (November 2010). Fukuyama's timeline and also his cover arts will also be displayed.

The event details as below and translated by River from this source

Exhibition will be held in 1st Floor, Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo from the 16th until 22nd Nov. It opens from 11am until 7pm. And this part is slightly confusing, it stated that the first 1000 visitors who brings The Best Bang!! CD bought at the record stores will receive that special stickers.

I wonder what special stickers?

Anyway proper English translation of the same news provided by musicjapanplus which confirms the above contents;

Singer and actor Fukuyama Masaharu is looking back on 20 years in music business and he will be releasing his best-of album "THE BEST BANG!!" on November 17th. In commemoration of the release, he will be opening a special event from today, November 16th in Tokyo at the Marunouchi Building.

"There is a favor I would like to return to the fans", he said about the venue which he used to realize this project. For the music video of his single "Kokoro color ~ a song for the wonderful year" from his best-of album, the same set has been used, with the large dinosaur fossils installed in it, and is eventually reused for the event. Being able to take pictures in the same place as Fukuyama, is certainly something to be excited about as a fan.

"I will sing to support everyone at their heart and when seeing this, maybe somewhere a heart starts dancing." Fukuyama commented on the song of the music video.A special point about the video is certainly the mix of clay animation and drawn animation, which is used both for the clip.

The event with the set will be opened until November 22nd and the scenery had been used for the album cover design and Fukuyama's chronology until "THE BEST BANG!!" Moreover, the first 1000 people reaching the set for the event will receive a special sticker as a memorial gift as well.
