[Ryoma-Den] Baton passing ceremony [23.11.2010]

It is really really over. Today on 23.11.2010 the baton passing ceremony was done and over with. Ryoma-Den even with 1 more episode to go is done and over with. I tried looking for the previous year's baton passing ceremony involving Masha but frankly my blog has grown to such a state where it is difficult for me to find it since I wasn't very good at naming my posts previously. Anyway no translation as yet.

Thanks to River and Izumisano for a brief translation on the gifts exchanged (source, source, source);

Masha gave Ueno Juri (lead in nexy year's Taiga drama, Gou) Nagasaki tangerines which is a local specialty and she returned with wagyū (Omi beef), which was well-known due to the source of water came from Lake Biwa, in Shiga Prefecture. On Masha's gift (Nagasaki Mikan), which immediately reminded me of his grandmother.
Thanks to Mashamasha for the translation as follows:-

Juri asked him what she should bring to NHK studio, masha said he always brings his training set to the studio but this is not necessary for Juri, so he suggested her to bring a good chair such that she can have good rest during the filming. Then masha said he has a good one, he will give her as present. masha did mention that chair in ann. He said he had a good sleep on that chair but felt pity that he found it so late (he found it when he filmed the cm right before the end of ryomaden filming)

From drama-otaku. A rather weird thing to say, enjoy hardships?

Lead actor of NHK’s taiga drama “Ryomaden,” Fukuyama Masaharu and next year’s lead actress of the taiga drama “Gou: Himetachi no Sengoku,” Ueno Juri were at a ceremonial “baton-passing” event in Tokyo’s Shibuya. Fukuyama exclaimed to his junior Ueno, “As an actor, as a human being, be grateful for being able to experience filming for over a year. Here, enjoy the hardships to your heart’s content.”

“Ryomaden” is coming to a close later this month. “Gou: Himetachi no Sengoku” starts airing next year in January.

 Anyway last year's baton passing ceremony was the following:-

I wonder where is my post on that?

A video of the baton passing ceremony can be found at tudou.

The very clear 1 min or so video ripped from tudou with MP4 format at 12.07MB.

Sometimes I receive some media files or stuff about Masha that can't be publicly shared, but I can however share privately, such as concert clips, etc. I would love to share whatever I got with you, as a way of disseminating information of Masha to the masses. You probably have all that stuff if you're an experienced fan, but if you are new to Masha or does not know other experienced fans, you probably won't have most of what I can send to you. I don't send emails often, since frankly I don't get such stuff often but when I do, I will send the link if I am allowed to do so. So do join my contact list but be reminded, you're not allowed to repost/redistribute/reupload whatever I send you whether in whole or in part. Anyone interested, redirect them to my blog and ask them to join my contact list. But this is only open to those who will answer the questions in the form below accurately. If you're successful, you will receive quite a few emails since I group all links together into categorised documents. If you're not, I will email and inform why (probably answered some wrongly, such as title not in Romaji or wrong answer). Once you found the answer, please RESUBMIT THE FORM. If you did not receive my emails (whether the many materials or rejection email) within 3 days of joining, please do resend your request. Thanks for joining!
