I have no idea what Pukapuka or プカプカ in its original form means. Is it a place? A verb? A noun? I hope someone could enlighten me on this. I also have no idea about the origin of this song because it is not written by Masha. Thanks to On 10, the song is "I think it was written by Nishioka Kyouzou for a folk group he had formed called The Dylan II, but maybe he used a pen name. I'm not sure because I couldn't find the information in English and had to try to understand from Japanese. It became a hit in 1972". That is the problem with Japanese entertainment world. They just don't cater for worldwide audience! I think the following is the original band, though I am not sure. The link is thanks to On 10. Like what was said, many artistes have covered this song, and it must be a classic. There is no video of Masha singing it, so I got the mp3 version instead. I really like Masha's version, very fast, playful and the tune whichever decade it is sung is very addictive. I just wish I know what he's singing! If you have the translated lyrics or know more of this song, do post them here. If you also know whether Masha has performed this song live and has links to that, do post them here also! I am sorry I can't provide for a translation but I hope you like the song. You can find Masha's version in his 2002 album, The Golden Oldies.

Anyway the video of what I assume to be the original band. Great version too and so many can sing in one song!

Sometimes I receive some media files or stuff about Masha that can't be publicly shared, but I can however share privately, such as concert clips, etc. I would love to share whatever I got with you, as a way of disseminating information of Masha to the masses. You probably have all that stuff if you're an experienced fan, but if you are new to Masha or does not know other experienced fans, you probably won't have most of what I can send to you. I don't send emails often, since frankly I don't get such stuff often but when I do, I will send the link if I am allowed to do so. So do join my contact list but be reminded, you're not allowed to repost/redistribute/reupload whatever I send you whether in whole or in part. Anyone interested, redirect them to my blog and ask them to join my contact list. But this is only open to those who will answer the questions in the form below accurately. If you're successful, you will receive quite a few emails since I group all links together into categorised documents. If you're not, I will email and inform why (probably answered some wrongly, such as title not in Romaji or wrong answer). Once you found the answer, please RESUBMIT THE FORM. If you did not receive my emails (whether the many materials or rejection email) within 3 days of joining, please do resend your request. Thanks for joining!
